The Overlay
The idea of layers exists in a variety of ways whether it emerges voluntarily in a trickle of molten rock or is applied by human hands as a filter or texture in artistic works. Multifaria draws from the concept of an overlay by creating a unique vision for fashion and suggests that it should be a neutral cloud on which individuals etch and layer parts of themselves. In the design of the store, the company presents a physical representation of their brand through selected finishes and fixture design.

Emerge
One of life's great paradoxes lies with the truth that while human beings want to feel like they belong somewhere, they also possess an innate longing to be special. Multifaria believes that this paradox can be appeased through accessorizing current fashion trends in one's own way. The focal display of the store's ground floor holds a multilayer platform of mannequins that rest on planks running up the wall and out onto the floor. This display represents one's unique expression of style against the backdrop of fashion.

Evolve
While classic staples exist such as the "little black dress," what society considers as vogue rarely stays stagnant for long. Similarly, an individual evolves and grows throughout his life and will choose to express himself differently in each phase. Multifaria stands behind their customers and encourages them to explore who they are and who they will become. Through purposefully designed fixtures that layer themselves on each other in a harmony of rectangular shapes and a ceiling plan that starts as a simple, track-lit grid but develops into linear trails of light, the design exhibits the ever-evolving tastes of society and individual alike.
