Participants in this holiday wear clothing of black & white and adorn themselves in vivid color, using the marigold flower to honor those who have left this world and painting their faces in the famous "sugar skull" fashion. Keeping in step with those traditions, Craneo derives its name from the Spanish word for "skull" and it celebrates the lives of its guests through rich colors, familiar patterns & luxe materials. Upon entering Craneo, guests can be treated to a light fare at Cha Chara with its variety of healthy, Spanish inspired dishes. Then, before heading to their rooms, they can enjoy a relaxing beverage from Pomulo bar, conveniently located inside Cha Chara. Once settled in, guests may decide to go to Frente Spa where they can further unwind with a massage; and a day at Craneo cannot end without a visit to the rooftop skybar, La Orbita, which provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding Gaslamp District.
